When you send an event inquiry we collect your name, email, phone number and whatever you tell us about your event. If you go on to book, we also hold the booking paperwork, your insurance certificate, and your vendors' contact details. When you visit the site we collect basic technical information - IP address, browser, which pages you viewed and which site you came from.
To answer your inquiry, quote your event, run it, and keep the records a venue is required to keep. We may also email you about the venue and our availability - every one of those has an unsubscribe link.
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. These set cookies in your browser. Necessary cookies keep the site working; analytics cookies you can refuse in your browser settings without losing any functionality.
Our team. Service providers who host the site, deliver our email, and run our analytics - they act only on our instructions. Anyone we need to coordinate with to deliver your event, such as caterers or AV vendors, and only what they need. Anyone the law requires. We do not sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing.
Inquiries that don't become bookings, about two years, so we recognise you if you come back. Booking records, contracts and insurance certificates for as long as tax and insurance rules require. Ask us and we'll delete anything we're not required to keep.
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, and to stop receiving our emails, at any time. Email info@whitespacechelsea.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in Europe or the UK you can also object to or restrict how we use your information, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. If you're in California you have equivalent rights, and we do not sell or share your personal information.
We use access controls and encrypted connections, and only staff who need your information can see it. No system is completely secure.
We photograph the venue and events held in it, and use those images to promote the space. If you don't want your event photographed or shown, tell us before your event date and we'll respect that.
This site is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
